One more film made by our student. School and education are important for everybody, no doubt! And how can you learn a language successfully? - Agata's film is a kind of an advert of some language school.
6th graders participated in a project connected with cookery. Their task was to publish three posts on a blog. The most important part of the project was to create a film showing them cooking. The students learnt a lot and they also had a lot of fun. The link to the blog below: WE KNOW HOW TO COOK
Six-graders prepared a simple performance for kids from the kindergarten. "In the morning" shows a usual morning. Funny, light and interesting... Both the students and the children enjoyed it and learnt something new.
"We are fascinated by the cinema addressed to children and youth. Good cinema. Open to various ways of perceiving the world and fluent with many languages of the film. Happy to present premieres, at the same time we nostalgically recall classic and forgotten images. We award both renowned productions and films just entering the screens. We invite the doyens of the cinema and debutants alike, but most of all – we invite viewers".
That's what they say, and that's true. We really enjoy going there! We took part in 36th Film Festival this year. It's really worth taking part in it! FIND OUT MORE: https://alekino.com/kalendarium/?days=05.12.2018&years=
We had a great chance to meet and learn from Michał Baranowski. He has worked for film industry for a couple of years now. He cooperates with Polish TV stations creating e.g. documentaries and ads. He is very good at working with children and teenagers and teaching them how to make really good films. During workshops we learnt what is important when making a film and we also put this knowledge into practice.
On 9th October, during exchange in Poland, all of Erasmus+ students, and also others who wanted to participate, created a lipdub - a mix of six different songs. We also had to perform, dance and move our lips to the music and dress up for the video. The result of it can be seen below - and all of it thanks to M. Baranowski (thanks a lot once again for your help). Unfortunately it's without music - copyright :D
It's been 25 years since the first school bell rang in our building. In connection with this, school staff, students and many other people, including Józef Nowicki - the president of Konin, gathered in front of our school to enjoy Saturday afternoon together. 'Erasmus+" was also with us. Students prepared a beautiful photo exhibition about our previous activities in the programme. And ... our "international bus" attracted a lot of visitors 😏 Two of our students gave an interview to the media - about the school and Erasmus+.
Looking to the future and to our school's development, two teachers - Małgorzata Krzymińska and Justyna Olejniczak participated in Kongres Rozwoju Systemu Edukacji in Warsaw (Conference on Development of the Educational System). The main idea is strictly connected with the influence of education on Polish people's level of competence and their competitiveness on labour market. The conference also covered main assuptions of a new EU's educational programme, which is supposed to replace Erasmus+ in the future.
In June 2018 our students, Maja, Iga, Marcelina and Michał took part in film workshops under National Independent Film Contest (OKFA). They made an interesting animated clip:
Some time ago, there used to be a cinema in Konin. It was first called Polonia (later aka Górnik). Our students made a film showing its history and its possible future. The memories connected with the cinema were presented by different important and famous people. Can anything be done with this cinema? Teachers, students and even preschoolers put forward their own ideas as to how to revive this interesting place.
One of the topics we covered while doing this Erasmus+ project was 'lifestyle'. Our students made a short video showing their own idea of the topic. Enjoy!
Some days
ago there was organized a family picnic in our school. We planned a lot of
activities for whole family. It was an outdoor event. Our Polish Erasmus+ Team
prepared special tasks . Guests could get know more information about the
project. Our girls prepared some quizzes and board games dedicated to film,
drama and the knowledge about our
European partners. We had really a lot of fun.
OUR PROJECT: CREATIVE TEACHING METHODS APPLYING FILM AND DRAMA AT SCHOOL
This is the blog of our second Erasmus+ Project.
We are four schools from Denmark, Poland, Austria and Spain. We have worked together in our first Erasmus+ project ("Crossing Borders"), about inclusion of handicaped students from 2015 to 2017.
Our second Eramus + Project is about drama and film as alternative teaching methods.
We start working together again. Let's do a great job.
